Mama’s living an abundant life
What does your dream life look like? Stepping out of your comfort zone is like walking into a new world. Still, for women like Amanda Suga, it’s the beginning of a new and exciting adventure.
“I was teetering between going back to a full-time corporate position, while working on my business during my off time” Amanda shared. “My mind was telling me to go back into my comfort zone, going back to a career and environment that I had been very successful in for the past 10 years.”
Amanda Suga is the go-to life and empowerment mentor for modern mystic mamas who want to step into the fullest expression to create their dream lives through manifestation and mindful living.
Her coaching business launched in September 2020 after feeling called to create an impact in the world while sharing some of the things that have helped her grow in her own life.
Michelle: What called you to become a Manifestation Coach?
Amanda: I discovered manifestation about 4 years ago and I was so intrigued by the idea that we as humans had the ability to create our reality with our thoughts.
As I began to experiment with this concept, I started to see my life change dramatically in a way that I had not experienced before. Within 2 years of implementing a manifestation practice I doubled my salary, was promoted twice, had my dream wedding and went on an amazing 3 week honeymoon in Europe.
At first, I felt like these manifestations were a bit of a fluke, though the more I worked on my mindset , which is a key element of manifestation, the more things started to come to fruition. And as I honed my practice, the synchronicity that was occurring in my life was just too good to ignore.
Michelle: Share a big transition you’ve experienced recently. What techniques did you use to move through the uncertainty?
Amanda: One of the biggest transitions I had recently was deciding to go all in on my coaching business. Prior to this I was teetering between going back to a full-time corporate position, while working on my business during my off time. My mind was telling me to go back into my comfort zone, going back to a career and environment that I had been very successful in for the past 10 years. There was certainty in that path and it was something I knew how to do. Though that wasn’t aligned with the vision that I had for my future, and I knew that in order to manifest what I wanted, I needed to fully embody the successful entrepreneur that I was becoming.
I needed to create certainty in myself and the thought that “my success is inevitable” before I was able to see that certainty in my reality. I did this through working on my mindset.
I spent hours journaling, using visualizations, meditating and a lot of introspective work digging into my thought models and working each day on believing the thoughts that were going to get me to start showing up as this new version of myself. And each day as I did this, the power of my belief grew and compounded until I was fully prepared to leave the corporate world behind and take this enormous leap of faith into my dream life. I haven’t looked back since.
The significance of this is that I would never have even considered this option for myself even 3 months ago, so it goes to show how powerful this work is in changing our lives in relatively short amounts of time.
Michelle: When the world feels heavy, what tools do you use to center yourself?
Amanda: Meditation is one of my favorite tools for helping to get centered and grounded in my thoughts and feelings when things outside of me feel hectic.
I know that I can always get back to the place inside where I feel at home, safe and supported. Being able to go within that place of stillness is so reassuring. It also helps you develop a very strong relationship to yourself and your intuition.
A mediation practice can sound quite daunting to some, and I want to offer that it doesn’t need to be something so serious and demanding of you.
For anyone who is skeptical, I recommend trying it out for a week or so using an app like Calm, Headspace or Insight Timer. There really isn’t a right or wrong way, as long as you gain some mental clarity and calm in the process.
Michelle: Share your biggest accomplishment in your entrepreneurial journey so far. What has it taught you?
Amanda: My biggest accomplishment so far in my journey has been the huge shift I have seen in myself. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I don’t recognize the person I see.
Over the last few months my mindset and thinking has changed drastically. And I’ve proven to myself that THIS WORKS! Even just believing the thought that “I am an entrepreneur.” felt so unrealistic before and now it’s something I can say with complete conviction and act from that place. I am a product of my product.
Through this transformation I have been able to meet so many amazing women that I was so afraid to do before. These connections really warm my heart and I can’t imagine my life without this experience.
Michelle: Where do you plan on taking your business in the next 5 years?
Amanda: Over the next 5 years I am planning on exponentially growing my business. I see myself expanding my offerings to include courses, group programs, retreats and even a podcast.
My mission is to empower and guide as many modern mompreneurs as possible to go for their dreams and live an abundant life where they can actually live it and spend time with their kiddos.
I want to teach them the foundational mindset and manifestation tools that they can take with them and repeat over and over, and eventually teach their children about. I believe that the more we raise each other up in this life, the more that ripples out into the rest of the world for generations to come.
