Here’s why you’re struggling

Every thought follows a decision. And every day, we’re tasked with deciding what to wear, eat, and say. Seems innocent, but now, think about the different roles you play -- career woman, daughter, mom, wife, a person -- and all the decisions that come with that role.

It’s no wonder you’re overwhelmed!

When we unpack what’s behind this feeling, it boils down to this…

With every decision comes a series of alternatives we play out in our heads. Like Dr. Strange in Avengers: Infinity War, visiting every possible scenario and its outcome.

That takes energy, sis!

Even fun thoughts like business ideas, new skills, and cooking recipes contribute to your decision fatigue.

So what’s the solution to creating harmony?

Define what’s important to you

Every established business has a set of core values written down. You should do the same too! When you clarify and write down what’s important, you’re creating a decision roadmap -- your boundaries, projects, circle of friends. Take a moment to write down what’s important to you as an individual and display it!

Write down all your ideas

Take 5 mins to write down your ideas and gain 5 hours of clarity. Knowing that your thoughts are on paper gives you the permission to let them go, which frees up valuable real estate in your mind. Keep a journal with just your ideas, and the ones that keep coming up, you should...

Do something with it!

Ideas repeat themselves in your mind because you are genuinely curious about how far you can take them. Maybe it’s a new business idea, project, or hobby -- whatever it is, it’ll keep coming back unless you try it. Perhaps you’ll realize it’s not for you. But you would’ve never known unless you tried.
